The OAM security management system (SMS) is a combination of:

• A detailed Audit of the corporate situation to establish the risk and threat profile of the organisation and operation
• Development of a Security Management Plan to solve problems, reduce risk and mitigate all threats.
• Implementation and management of the OAM security system comprising:
  • a documented system of practical Standard Operating Procedures that have been developed and proven at a range of actual operational sites in developing regions throughout South East Asia and Africa.
  • Provision of contract based management consultants responsible for oversight and coordination of all elements of the SMS - responsible for:
    • Expert advice on individual or organisational security and emergency needs
    • Emergency management planning, coordination, training, and briefings
    • Effective guard force operations
    • Skills enhancement and training
    • Liaison and communication with all regional and local security forces
    • Daily information feedback to management on security issues

An OAM SMS is world’s best practice and follows the principles of AS/NZ 4360:1999 - Risk Management standard to provide a comprehensive overall security management system for maintaining the operational viability and safety of the assets and personnel involved in the particular project.
